What types of events do you plan?
KM Events specializes in weddings, birthdays, graduations, corporate events, bridal and baby showers, anniversary celebrations, retirement parties, and other special occasions. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a large celebration, we're here to help create a seamless and memorable experience.
Where are you located?
KM Events is based in Nebraska and proudly serves clients throughout the state. Travel to surrounding areas may also be available depending on the event location.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weddings and larger events. Weddings are often booked 6–12 months in advance, while smaller celebrations can often be accommodated with shorter notice, depending on availability.
Do you travel?
Yes! We happily travel throughout Nebraska and may travel to neighboring states for select events. Travel fees may apply depending on the event location.
When should I hire a wedding planner?
The earlier, the better! Hiring a planner early can help you stay organized, establish a realistic budget, and connect with trusted vendors before their calendars fill up.
Can you help if I've already started planning?
Absolutely. Whether you're halfway through planning or only need help during the final weeks, we'll meet you where you are and provide the support you need.
Will you attend my rehearsal?
If your package includes rehearsal coordination, yes! We'll help organize the ceremony processional, review the timeline, and ensure everyone knows what to expect.
What happens on the day of my event?
We'll oversee the timeline, coordinate vendors, answer questions, troubleshoot unexpected issues, and keep everything running smoothly so you can focus on enjoying your celebration.
What if something goes wrong?
Part of our job is anticipating challenges and solving problems quickly and professionally. If an issue arises, we'll work behind the scenes to resolve it with as little disruption as possible.
Do you plan business and nonprofit events?
Yes! We assist with conferences, employee appreciation events, holiday parties, networking events, grand openings, fundraisers, award ceremonies, and other corporate gatherings.
Can you help with vendor coordination for corporate events?
Yes. We work with venues, caterers, audiovisual providers, entertainers, rental companies, and other vendors to ensure your event runs efficiently.
What's the difference between event planning and event coordination?
Event planning involves helping you organize your event from the beginning, including timelines, budgets, vendor recommendations, and planning guidance. Event coordination focuses on making sure everything runs smoothly as your event approaches and on the day itself.
Can I hire you for just day-of coordination?
Absolutely! Many clients enjoy planning their own event but want a professional to manage the details on the day of the event so they can relax and enjoy the celebration.
Do you decorate events?
KM Events provides event design guidance and coordinates with decorators, florists, and rental companies to bring your vision to life. We do not currently maintain our own inventory of décor or rental items.
Do you help find vendors?
Yes! We can recommend trusted local vendors based on your style, budget, and event needs.
Can you work with my existing vendors?
Absolutely. We're happy to coordinate with vendors you've already selected to ensure everyone is working together seamlessly.
How much do your services cost?
Every event is unique. Pricing depends on the type of event, level of service, guest count, and overall planning needs. After learning more about your event, we'll provide a customized proposal tailored to your goals.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! We offer an initial consultation to discuss your event, answer questions, and determine how KM Events can best support you.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A signed agreement and a non-refundable retainer are required to reserve your event date. The remaining balance will be outlined in your service agreement.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payment schedules are available for many planning packages. We'll discuss options during the booking process.
